Terms of Use

Lumen Catechism supports Catholic faith formation and Confirmation preparation. Access is limited to approved users and may be suspended when needed to protect students, staff, data, or the service.

Account responsibilities

Provide accurate information, keep login credentials and classroom staff passcodes private, and use only the role and classrooms assigned to you. Do not attempt to access another person's records.

Appropriate use

Use Lumen respectfully and only for lawful catechetical purposes. Do not upload harmful material, impersonate another person, disrupt the service, or use journal or AI features for urgent safeguarding reports or sacramental confession.

Educational and AI content

Content is intended for formation and should be reviewed within the parish program. AI responses can be incomplete or mistaken; users should consult Scripture, the Catechism, and a catechist or priest for authoritative guidance.

Availability and changes

This is a pre-diocesan pilot. Features and content may change as the parish validates the program. Material changes to these terms or privacy practices should be communicated to users before broader deployment.
